Oxreen is a Beninese American Afrobeat artist based in the DMV. Known for his melodic take on Afrobeat, Ox doesn't shy away from mixing sounds & styles in his music. In 2015, he left Benin and moved to Maryland. A native French-speaker, Oxreen used his love of music to help him learn English. In the years that followed, Ox pursued the creation of his own music. And in 2020, he impressed a label exec, securing himself a record deal later that year.
